What's in my Filo Week 1

Buongiorno!

How are you all? My gosh its been ages since I've posted about my beloved filo. It was sad to hear that paperlovestory will no longer be doing those lovely week round ups where you can peep into everyone's creative organisers here, however I will try my best to keep up my lil weeks however boring and un-stickered they may be!

For the new year I've decided to rename this feature "What's in my filo." Below are the pages from last week and the weeks before from the beginning of the year.

I have been using those lovely sticky notes from the books I picked up from TK MAXX along with some sharpie highlighters to add colour. Looking back though, I think I need to get some more stickers and I really want to dabble in washi tape!

This week I am in full swing in my fitness lifestyle change playing squash twice a week and soon start on the pilates and toning.

Went for a taupe coloured theme

Its also Chinese New Year! I love Chinese new year the food is so yum yum! My beloved neighbour who is like a second grandma will be having her new year party this weekend which will be a lovely end of week treat.

Hope your week is going well and all your goals are on target for already the second month of the new year!

Feel free to leave me a comment with a link to your blog letting me know what's in your filo? ^_^

My Filofax Week (week 43)

Hello my beautiful bloggers! How are you? Here's my week from last week. Very very minimalistic with a few budgie stickers from a big box I bought from Paperchase.

Have any of you in the UK been hit by the storms? Here in the shire we've had a few trees blown over and the trains never need much of an excuse to stall and delay but I'd say we were pretty lucky. The rain didn't half keep me up at night though!

This week I am looking forward to Halloween! Oh I'm so so excited, its the first Halloween I'm completely throwing myself and the Fiancé into with regard to costumes. With only a few days to go I still have to decide on an outfit though I know there will be lots of make up and artificial blood everywhere.

The weekend will see the gorgeous fireworks and celebrations of the Hindu festival of Diwali, which is always a beautiful colourful affair with delicious sweets! And I'm looking forward to an extra treat of more fireworks over guy fawkes.

But for now its all about sh*tting my pants googling horrifying pictures for inspiration, oh an shopping tommorrow for some Halloween make up cause of course its completely different to my normal make up ;)

Happy Halloweenies xx

My Filofax Week (Catch up)

Here are some pics from the last couple of weeks in my diary. The first one I've gone for a gothic dark theme with little girl stickers from paperchase a lovely lace sticker border from hobbycraft and those wonderful post it notes by Santoro's Gor Juss

The pics are a bit hazy, apologies.

The week following I decided to spruce it up a little with a hello kitt attack and some butterfly washi tape.

I think I've realised I need a lot more washi tape so I'll fit that in with some online shopping this week ^_^

My Filofax Week (week 39)

This week my Lil Sis started uni! Oh its only a day or two since she left and the house is already a little quiet. We went up north to settle her in check out her room and halls. I’m a lil jealous as I know this week will see the stupidest fresher’s parties and fairs full of freebies, ah to be a perpetual student!

I also popped into Mrs Moores Vintage Fair in Rickmansworth on Sunday which was great. They hold a fair every few months and it was nice to see some new traders. The weekend was a bit of a vintage affair all round as I popped into a few vintage shops up north in between buying last minute forgottens for the Lil Sis.

I’ll have to have a separate post on my buys later in the week!

On Wednesday the cheeky Fiancé took the care to write in a little surprise for me. It was only a trip up to Manchester to see United play against Liverpool (and go on to knock them out the Carling Cup, go on my boys). Even better we were four rows from the front, the best seats I've ever had at the Theatre of Dreams, oh that Beau of mine he's a keeper!

My Filofax Week (week 38)

After the engagement party I’m back on training contract searching and generally finding my purpose in life. I really enjoyed all the creative d.i.y’s I became involved in and was wondering if I can’t make some extra cash doing things I enjoy and using a bit of creativity. I’ve been researching a bit about starting up a little business from creativity but can’t really find any articles or so that will help explain what I’m looking for so perhaps once I get things finalised myself that could be a future post.

Here’s the week below, the highlight being visiting the Bluewater Wedding Fair in Kent. I received tickets for my birthday from my Sister – in Law to be and had a great time! We (the Fiancé and I )got a sneaky upgrade to V.I.P and received the lovely goody bags YAY! I had wondered before attending whether it is the right etiquette to be visiting with the Fiancé I was going with the Mum but she’s busy with my lil’ Sis who’s jetting off to uni next week. I was pleasantly surprised that there were in fact a fair few Mrs’ to be with their fella I mean it figures seeing as more couples do tend to finance the wedding themselves these days.

There were some lovely wedding ideas with the current craze of the photobooth guestbook and we received two complimentary glasses of champers which I chugged down including the Fiancé’s (oops) which gave the last 30mins of walking around stalls an extra kick, yeah I hadn’t eaten anything before. Oops again. But overall it was pretty great for an otherwise blasé week.

My Filofax Week (week 37)

Here's my filo week just gone. It was a busy one preparing last min things for the engagement party. It was only until the night before that I realised EEK! THE PLAYLIST! while my hands were covered in henna. But luckily the Handsome Fiancé and his Best Man A.K.A my Maid of Honour too were there to help out.

All in all the week was all about Saturday. As I've moved to the pocket I found that the good thing is I don't have to use as many accessories decorating my week. So I opted for the cutest little owl stickers from Paperchase that were appropriately wearing a little suit and wedding dress to represent my Beau and I.

On the day we were so lucky it didn't rain, all week I was constantly checking the forecast and trying to ignore the fact it kept showing pictures of thunder clouds and hailstorms.

The highlight of the day/week had to be the photo shoot we went to at Chorleywood Common afterwards, it was so much fun messing around pretending we were models, the photographers were fantastic and bought these gorgeous masquerade masks which I cannot wait to see how the pics turned out!

Now I'm on a bit of a party low as I don't quite know what to do this week.. perhaps start searching for this training contracts I conveniently forgot about!

My Filofax Week (Week 36)

A little late, but here is my week number 36. It was pretty busy towards the end as I started on last min shopping and prep for my engagement party.

I moved into my new pocket chameleon this week too and decided upon a jungle theme. After viewing some of your wonderfully themed decorating I decided to try and incorporate different themes from time to time into my daily planner.

Of course that means I have to go shopping for some new washi tape!

My Filofax Week (Week 35)

I have completely lost count on my filofax weeks, but after checking on the gorgeous paperlovestory's blog I'll take a stab at Week 35 as I'm a little ahead!

From my last post you all know that Little Miss Finsbury is getting on my nerves and that’s pretty evident from my lack of posting and showing off stickys. So I decided to try something new to my WPP diary this week, something that although is new to me is not so new in the filofax scheme of things.

I’m dividing my days up. On one side I’ll treat it as a to do list with reoccurring boring things that need to be done during the day and on the other side I’ll write down all my social dates mainly cuddling up with the Fiancé. Any major meetings or things that need my attention will be written across the day as normal.

I’ve only just started this method that I’ve seen so many of you own and hope it works for me or at least keeps me engaged enough while I think hard about this re-jig.

The problem is, I’m one of those awkward people who buys a WPP diary and then half way through the year realises it doesn’t really suit her anymore, but kind of refuses to buy WO2P diary because she feels like it’s a waste on the WPP front? AM I MAD! This is the same person who thought buying a ridiculous WHSmith month on page diary will solve everything and used probably half a month of it. What a load of poppycock!

Week 26th - 1st Sep 2013
And here's a page from a few weeks back where my beloved whisked me away to Disneyland Paris for an early birthday treat! Aren't I a lucky lass!

Week 29th - 4th Aug 2013

My Filofax Week (Week 23)

It has been a very long time since I updated the my filofax week feature.

I've adjusted the week numbers in the title to keep up with Paperlovestory's feature otherwise I start getting confused with numbers floating around my head.

Here are a few pics of the last couple of weeks. As you can see since I started working I'm slowly diminishing the time I spend with Little Miss Finsbury.. :( That makes me sad and I feel a re-think in the set up is much needed as I always assumed I'd be using it a lot more once I start working!

May
End of may

One worthy note to well.. note is the COUNTDOWN!

Oh yes my lovelies the countdown has begun! I'm so excited!! To what? Can you guess?
Well you'll just have to stay tuned in the coming weeks.. ^_^

week 3rd - 9th June

My Filofax Week (Week 18)

Oh what a boring week, no meetings, no planning, no organising just a free for all..

Quite enjoying the bank holiday that just crept up on me, I forgot to highlight this particular one along with the rest in the diary and completely forgot about it. The Boyfriend was happy as it meant I didn’t have time to book him out for the whole weekend and he ran away to catch up on movies!

The weather is looking lush so I’m thinking some Pimms and glasses of shandy are in order this weekend. Hope your enjoying the weekend and perhaps jetting off somewhere and making the most of it!

29th - 5th May
Excusies for the poor blurry picture, my lens just wouldn't clean!

My Filofax Week (Week 17)

I missed out last week, so I hope this is the correct week 17, I'm a bit all over the place.

This week was great on the football front to see United win their 20th Premiership title was EPIC.

My lil' sis turns 18 today! CHAOS. I'm planning a little night out on the town around Leicester Sq. Just putting the final touches together with the Boyfriend before scooting off to get ready, it does take me a while and seeing as there's alcohol involved tonight I best make sure I fill my belly with some good food and try and avoid the MacDonalds Drive - In on the way home in the middle of the morn!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

My Filofax Week (Week 15)

Here’s my last week. As you can see it was a Cupcake free zone as I really battled with myself and try to shed the last few pounds to squeeze into the bridesmaid dress.

It was quite successful I lost 2 lbs which I wasn’t expecting to! I can do the eating right part, I cut all the sweet and carby snacks and replaced them with oat bars and walnuts and snack a jacks galore. Plus eating healthy to me = excuse to eat fish everyday! Which I love.

But the exercise.. oh dear lord I felt like I was going to die the first day. I’ve started some interval training cardio malarkey from clips you can find on youtube and I have enough space in the living room or sometimes the garden, while the suns out. I prefer that than the gym as I always feel a bit uncomfortable like they can smell I’m not a real fitness freak.

The trick is trying to stay on it till after the wedding, I have my sister’s birthday after so that’s another goal but I do need to start thinking about long term fitness goals.

Hope you had a good one!

My Filofax Week (Week 14)

Apologies for the late post. I was a bit M.I.A yesterday. Another week over and I’ve been plodding along getting things organised for the wedding. I’m still on the lookout for some flash diamante necklace set but why are fake jewels SO expensive!

I’ve also been secretly, well maybe not so secretly cursing The Boyfriend this week while he lives it up large in L.A. He’s deliberately sending me pictures of clear blue skies, strolling around in shorts and tee while I look out of the window and see snow. Hmmmmm not happy!

Other events this week have been totally car focused, I changed baby's battery (Yes my car has a name, her name is baby and nobody.. nobody puts baby in the corner), I fixed a wing mirror that decided to drop off because of the cold weather, I even got my head nearly stuck under her and had that two second panic moment when you cry out for your mum. You know similar to when you get your head stuck in your jumper and for a moment you think you'll never see the light of day again.

Here’s my week and at the top you can see my little pack of Momiji stickers.

Week 1st - 7th April 2013
They’re so cute lots of little dolls and happy quotes and kisses. I bought them at a paperchase like shop in Watford call Presence. They have loads of other bits of stationary in the “Momiji” range. J’ADORE!

My Filofax Week (Week 13)

Yay easter! I love Easter egg hunts, my neighbour across the way always has one in a huge garden but the weathers kind of dampened it this year.
Week 25th - 31st March

Covernt Garden are also having an easter egg hunt where they have hidden around 100 or so of these huge eggs painted/created by different artists. I usually go but this weekend I am all about family. Staying in for some family love and catch up time.. or we’ll be at each others’ heads I am making sure my corner is filled with lindor’s eggs no one will be able to resist.

Hope you all have a lovely juvely Easter!

My Filofax Week (Week 12)

Filofax week 12 here everybody! Hope your week has been going well.

Nothing interesting to report. I’ve mainly been boggling down with training contract applications whilst making time to cosy up with my A5 Luxe which I will write a post on very soon. (I think i say that every week..)

On the other hand here is the lovely Little Miss Finsbury you can read more about her hereDoesn't she look lovely, I’m quite enjoying carrying her around as a change from the metropol.

Week 18th - 24th March

I’ve also posted a little picture of today, my Saturday morning.. March 23rd.. full of snow.

Lots of lovely white blankets everywhere ahh.. so nice except for that fact that I think I’m coming down with a cold.. urgh! As a defence I'm berrocca-ing that shizzle up and hopefully won’t be bedridden.

My Filofax (Week 11)

My filo week
11th - 17th March 2013

Highlight of the week probably going to Spitalfield’s Antique Fair with mum on Thursday. I hadn’t been for at least a year and it was nice to have a wonder at all the unsual things on sale. I fell in love with one too many 1950s coat dresses but thankfully I was well out of money. ( I can just imagine my bank preparing to call me up Monday morning to discuss my spending.)

I’ve also added my weekly to do list on the WPP courtesy a Philofaxy print out. I printed it on plain paper but the printer head was a bit dirty and out came these colourful blobbed squares which I actually quite like!

WPP with weekly to do list

I added it on the WPP because I was beginning to forget switching back to the tab and things began slipping under the radar. Having it next to my week helps me keep focused on important things waiting for my attention.

I may be moving to the Finsbury end of this week. I like that it’s a bit worn in. Its undergoing a few facials at the mo and may make an appearance next week! Exciting times! ^_^

Have a lovely weekend.

My Filofax (Week 10)

A nice relaxing one this week.

Mainly lots of shopping, getting bits ready for my cousins wedding coming up. I bought a gorgeous vintage circa 1960s silk bridesmaid dress. I'm now on a mad search for some serious diamonds to jazz it up while trying not to indulge in long satin gloves with a little cigarette holder a la Breakfast at Tiffany’s!

Went out last night and have been walking around in dark sunnies today even though the sun is nowhere to be seen.

Mother’s day tomorrow which will be nice, I’m planning to treat mum to a bit of shopping and lunch mid-week as we've got other things happening. (hope she doesn’t read this before then!).

Spent most of my free time deciding how I want to shift things between my metropol and new A5 Luxe (blog post coming soon!).

Week 4th - 10th March 2013

I have these gorgeous post it notes from a little pack. I like to use them when I've got a few things going on and I don't want to crowd the already tiny spaces on my WPP.

Post-It note example

Two weeks

Have a fabulous Saturday, I'm going to snuggle up in my snuggies and prepare myself for a Harry Potter marathon with the sis! BRING IT!

My Filofax Week (Week 9)

Week 25th February - 4th March

This week has been the longest week of my life. Stuck indoors with books, staring at the computer screen for ages without absorbing anything

Which can only mean one thing.. The Exam! Argh it just crept up on me like a creepy grandma who just stands there in the kitchen in the dark waiting for you to come home. O_o Yep I have one of those.

So hopefully next week will be full of shopping sprees and marvellous trips to celebrate my efforts (or lack of..)!

My Filofax Week (Week 8)

Although I have only just started writing my blog, I’ve been a fan of reading others’ for years. So I was totes  excited when I got the chance to join Paper Lovestory’s my week feature.

The idea is to take a snap shot of your week as a sort of journal/evaluation of your week. The more creative the better and the feature is a great excuse to go mental with the stickers and stamps! I am channelling my inner 8 year old as I type..

More info can be found here and by clicking on the gorgeous blue button on the right. ^_^

I've noted in the title its week 8 to be a cool kid and in line with other entries but obvs its only my first week. Here it is!

My Cherry Red Metropol in Personal Size

I’ll be doing a more detailed post on my set up later but for now as you can see I’m on the week on one page inserts. I haven’t been on these since I bought the Metropol in 2009 but in my haste to reunite my love affair I settled with the week on one page when the Wo2p were sold out.
Week 18th - 24th Feb 2013

Last week too, with my page finder and stickers

Since I got reunited with my filo over Christmas last year I am going sticker shopping mad. It was practically all my January Sales shopping was about.

Even on Valentines Day amidst all the romantic, fly you to cloud 9 theatrics The Boyfriend had planned I was dragging him into every Paperchase store we found for a Pit Stop Sticker Stop! "Oh look at these cupcake stickers babe!"

Weekly recap:

·         Not much as I’ve been getting involved with the revision (argh if is say that word one more time) so all pretty boring

·         Had lots of fam visiting throughout the week as well as my Grandma returning from her holiday so free time was taken up with EPIC cleaning sessions.

·         I love decorating the pages with little stickers and these gorgeous set of post it notes I’ve got which I will have to dedicate a whole post to.

Have a lovely weekend!
